Tyler Spragg, a proud Oregonian, found his musical home in Central Oregon after relocating from the Willamette Valley in 2015. He acquired his first drum kit at the age of 12 after a few foundational years as a percussionist in the school band and has poured countless hours into studying, practicing, and performing ever since. Active in Bend's vibrant music scene, Tyler has performed with several groups in genres ranging from funk and jazz to rock, folk, metal, blues, hip-hop and neo-soul.

Tyler is also a dedicated multi-instrumentalist who continually invests his time in exploring and discovering more about music. He has been fortunate to learn piano and music theory from his grandmother, a revered music educator in Salem, Oregon. This early education laid the groundwork for a versatile musical journey that later included guitar lessons under the very talented and well studied Seth Burrows at Cascade School of Music. The guidance of these excellent teachers has profoundly shaped Tyler's approach to education.

With over 20 years of experience as a drummer and a genuine enthusiasm for education, Tyler aspires to inspire the next generation of musicians at Cascade School of Music, nurturing their talents and fostering a lifelong love for music.
